Some of you know I work at a hotel as a night auditor... and newspapers come along with that job. Well--delivering them to the rooms do! Anyways, if you get the USA today, on the front cover there is main concern regarding the post office and how its going downhill. Basically due to the internet!
The article mentioned how crappy the mail has actually gotten these days-- junk mail!
Sometimes it makes me wish I had a spam mailbox next to my current real mailbox!

Hello!
So I am sitting here at work. Bored already!
Ive only been here for 30 minutes! Well, techincally longer because
I came to hang out with my co-worker. But still.
Alone. Here. Long night.
Anyways I am still looking for penpals! I made a post on my personal
tumblr for penpals and got a pretty good amount of emails.. but I have not
rec'd any letters or anything from those who have said they would write!
I even sent out a letter not long ago and ... nothing!
Hmm... flakers! :(
Here lately Ive been using a website where you list things for "giveaway", but
its kind of like ebay. You just bid with points. Basically you list an item, say it bids and sales for 300 points with free shipping... You then get the 300 points and you can bid on other peoples things

Geocaching
Ever heard of it? I found out about this fun sport a few years ago when browsing through the internet.
Basically you use coordinates to find "treasure". Or sometimes its just a piece of paper you sign
stating that you found it.
Its so much fun after you find your first few. Try it out and see how addicting you become.
I live in a small town and never thought there would be any hidden there...oh yes ! There are! And a few are pretty creative! My favorite by far would be one disguise as a power outlet on a amish horse tie-up post.
After looking around I saw it and wondered why electricity would power there. Haha! Sure enough it was the geocache!

If you own a smart phone they offer a free app that will help you find near by caches, as well!

BeMyBee
I wanted to share with you some handmade cards that I recently won from bemybee.
They arrived yesterday when I was out in Nashville, so I got to come home this morning to a package sitting on my table. ( I love mail! )
What I noticed when I opened up the nicely packed envelope was a gorgeous (handmade?)
little drawstring bag. I think that was a good prize itself!
And the cards inside were so pretty! I cannot wait to use them!

Busy Bee
Wow Man! My schedule has been a little wild here lately with school and work. Trying to bring in a little crafting time but it just doesnt want to fit. Good thing I have a job to if I really needed to, I could bring crafting supplies here and do them. (Its just not that serious right now! haha)
Today Jason and I went to the thrift store after I got home from work this morning.
I found a Smith Corona teal colored type writer for $5.00 ! I havent got to check it out fully yet, but its in beautiful condition. I may end up keeping it... if not, it will be on my etsy shop. (trade or sell!)
Also, Jason found him about 9 Beethoven records for 99c at our local goodwill. Again, in wonderful condition.
He will be keeping those, thats for sure.
We had a little trouble at the thrift store when I found a box of feathers in packages in a huge box up against the wall. The lady refused to sell them to me because she hadnt priced them yet. So basically she turned down money... at the Gods Store House Thrift Store. I was very angry... I wanted that box of crafting feathers. She was also pretty rude about it saying she should have covered up the stuff.
If I had not wanted the type writer so dang badly, I would have just left.
I know thats silly of me over a box of feathers...but I really wanted them and she was rude about selling them. I would have waited if she would have offered to price them or something.
I went home and went straight to bed and now im paying for those shopping hours now... Im yawning at work! Heh...Oops.
